If you have decided to send your carburetor to me for service or rebuild, the following describes the process of how to get it to me, how it gets back to you, and everything else in between. Package your carburetor well for the ride here. If it reeks of old gasoline, please place it in a ziploc bag. The smell doesn't bother me however, the mail carrier may not appreciate it. I prefer to use the USPS. However, if you want to use UPS or FedEx go right ahead. I return ship all items using USPS. I prefer you not prepay for the return shipping. I will bill you for that. However, if you insist on it, do not throw a bunch of stamps in the box.....use a pre-printed return postage label. Fill out the customer information form, located here. A packing slip will be emailed to you. Put it in your shipping box. Include all of the parts that you have.

Notice to all who require a signature on delivery>>>>>> I may or may not be home when your package arrives.

After 3 attempts, your package will be returned to you.

I do NOT and will NOT travel to the carrier to pick up your carburetor.

Expect your package to arrive in 3 to 5 business days. Once I have your carburetor, I will notify you that I have it. This means that your information is in my system and your carburetor is in line to be worked. The next step is it will be completely torn down and cleaned along with all parts and pieces. Once cleaned, it will be inspected for any defects and a course of action will be determined along with an accurate quote for how much it is going to cost. At this time you will be informed of this information via email. If you agree to the quoted price and the course of action, work will continue. While I am waiting for a response, your parts are sitting idle. I will not do any work unless we both agree what is to take place and the cost. Sometimes other issues come up that may need to be addressed after this agreement. In this case, you will be notified again. I do not take it upon myself to do something to someone elses property unless I have their consent. I need all of this back and forth done by email. This is to protect you and me in writing. If you want to call, that is perfectly fine by me and sometimes it is necessary. However, it will be followed up with an email. I will do everything I say I will do and no more unless we both agree. Once all work is complete, you will be sent an invoice by email.


The invoice you recieve will contain a "Pay Now" button. When you are ready to pay, click on this button. It will take you to PayPal. PayPal handles all of my transactions. Please, don't email me back that you do not have a PayPal account. You DO NOT need a PayPal account to pay. PayPal will

allow you to pay with all major credit cards, e-checks, and many other forms of payment. I do not see any of your information nor do I want or need to. It is very safe and is no different than purchasing anything else online. Once PayPal has notified me that payment has been made, I will ship your parts back the next business day using the same method you sent them to me.

Shipping/Insurance Etc.

Many of you insure your items. If you want your items insured on the return trip, inform me of this BEFORE I bill you. You are paying for return shipping so, I will be happy to set it up however you like...just inform me before I bill.

Packing Slip

Please, fill out the online customer information form to receive the packing slip by email. This will give me all the information I need and speed up the process considerably. It also gets your information into my system without me having to type it all in. Please, try not to handwrite it out as some of you have horrible handwriting that is sometimes impossible to decipher. Click here to get it.
